SEE Dean Nominates Scholars for Tin Ka Ping Education Fund 2025–26

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) is pleased to announce the nominations for the Tin Ka Ping Education Fund for the academic year 2025–26, submitted by Dean Professor Benjamin Horton.

Established in 2008 through a generous donation from Dr. Tin Ka Ping, the Fund aims to support ten scholars annually from mainland universities to visit and collaborate with City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). The initiative fosters academic exchange, strengthens research partnerships and collaboration.

For the upcoming academic year, SEE has nominated the following distinguished scholars:

• Professor Yang Sihai – Peking University
• Professor Nian Heng – Zhejiang University

Their visits will contribute to ongoing research dialogue and deepen SEE’s engagement with leading institutions in mainland China.

We look forward to welcoming both scholars to CityUHK and to the valuable academic exchange their presence will bring.
