Nature reported New Solutions for Clean Energy

To tackle the surge of carbon neutrality issues around the globe, CityU has spared no effort in providing new solutions for clean energy. To develop sustainable energy, faculty members and students from a range of academic units, namely, School of Energy and Environment (SEE), College of Science and College of Engineering, have worked hand in hand to accomplish the goals.  

Prof. Alex Jen’s research project on printable solar cells, Dr. Yun Hau Ng’s research related to quantum confinement effect in a 3D-ordered macroporous photocatalyst, Prof. Michael Leung’s and Dr. Jin Shang’s research on sustainable way of producing ammonia, as well as SEE PhD students’ startup company (i2Cool) are reported in Nature online recently as advertorial under “China’s net-zero ambitions” section.
