Dr. Wei Wu received the Excellent Young Researcher Award of Energy and Built Environment

Dr. Wei Wu, our Assistant Professor, has recently won the Excellent Young Researcher Award of Energy and Built Environment. Dr. Wu’s research focuses on sustainable building energy technologies, including (1) investigation of alternative heat pump working fluids, (2) advanced heat pump cycles for performance improvement, and (3) energy system optimization for net-zero energy buildings. Dr. Wu received the award at the first International Chinese Conference on Energy and Built Environment (ICCEBE), which is an international platform for global Chinese scholars in the energy and built environment community. The conference has attracted more than 1000 participants from all over the world. After stringent peer review and competitive onsite interview, Dr. Wu was selected as one of the three winners of the Excellent Young Researcher Award.
