3 Undergraduate Students of SEE received the 2nd runner up at a HKIE Competition
Under the supervision of Prof. Edwin Tso, Associate Professor of the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) of City University of Hong Kong (CityU); and Prof. Huang Wei, Associate Professor of the School of Civil Engineering of Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU), 3 undergraduate students from SEE along with 2 undergraduate students from Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) of CityU teaming up with another 5 undergraduate students from SYSU participated in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Tertiary Institution Project GBA Invitation Competition on 9 March 2024.
The joint team received the 2nd runner-up prize in the Bridge Categories, obtained the “Least Support and Lightest Bridge Award”. This award recognizes the team who has successfully designed a bridge with the least amount of support and achieved the lightest weight.
