Online Learning

In order to prevent the novel coronavirus from spreading on campus, the University announced on 27 January 2020 to move to an interactive online learning environment starting from 7 February 2020 until further notice. All classes were delivered online and in real time, according to the original timetables.

Since then, the Office of the Provost and Deputy President has been working closely with the Office of Chief Information Officer, the Computer Services Centre and all academic units to support the implementation of an interactive online learning experience for student.

On-campus teaching and learning arrangements in the face-to-face mode were resumed in Semester A 2022/23.

Zoom via Canvas

The interactive online learning classroom will be conducted through Zoom via the Canvas. All academic colleagues and students should take the following steps at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled classes:

  1. Log in Canvas by EID and Active Directory (AD) Password
  2. Choose your course
  3. Enable Zoom option on the course menu
  4. Choose Zoom on the left sidebar
  5. Sign in to Zoom by EID and Active Directory (AD) Password
