Research Data Infrastructure

Apart from thematically specific projects, the Political Analysis Lab is also collaborating with several international academic institutions to develop a data infrastructure for the observational and longitudinal study of public opinions, health policy and risk perceptions in the Asia Pacific Region.

  • Collaborating with the World Values Association to implement the World Values Survey Waves 6, 7 and 8 in Hong Kong
  • Collaborating with the Computational Social Science Lab at the Centre for Public Affairs and Law to develop tools to unpack network typology and public sentiments
  • Collaborating with public health scholars and political scientists from Hong Kong Baptist University, Leuphana University, McGill University, and National University of Singapore University of Hong Kong to conduct panel surveys on risk perception during the pandemic
