To be eligible
for enrollment in the above GE English courses, students
must demonstrate proficiency through one of the
following pathways:
(i)
achievement
of at least Level 4 in the English Language in the Hong
Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) examination
or at least Grade D in Advanced Supplementary Level
(AS-level) Use of English of the Hong Kong Advanced
Level (HKAL) examination; OR
(ii)
attainment
of an alternative English qualification accepted by the
Chan Feng Men-ling Chan Shuk-lin Language Centre (LC);
OR
(iii)
successfully
completion of the English enhancement courses LC0200A
English for Academic Purposes 1 and LC0200B English for
Academic Purposes 2 offered by the LC.
