Printing in Teaching Studios

To support student learning, laser printers are set up in the Teaching Studios and on the workstations of Express Printing located near the Service Desk for handling small print jobs. This service is free of charge to students but is limited by the print quota allocated to them. Every year, a free print quota is allocated in one go to new intakes as well as existing regular students a few days before the first teaching day of Semester A. The same treatment also applies to new research students when their computer accounts are created. The amount given should have covered the loss of quota due to paper jam, toner low or stuck print jobs and it is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be carried forward. No additional print quota will be allocated in the Summer Term and Term Break. Printing paper is not provided.
