Introducing New Teaching Venues for Upcoming Semester
Beginning in Semester A of the 2025/26 academic year, a number of newly converted teaching venues are set up to enhance the teaching and learning experience for both faculties and students. These spaces include classrooms and teaching studios, all equipped with advanced audiovisual (AV) and IT facilities that are centrally managed by the Computing Services Centre (CSC).

Similar to other centrally managed teaching venues, the CSC is responsible for providing and managing the AV and IT facilities in these rooms. With a standardised design across both new and existing venues, system operations remain consistent, allowing users to quickly adapt to and utilise the facilities with minimal learning time.
Standard AV & IT Features Include:
- Touch-screen AV controller
- Integrated microphones and webcam
- High-performance presentation computer
- Large screens or TV displays for teaching content
- Wireless display support for personal devices
The transition of departmental teaching studios into shared spaces has been carefully coordinated to meet general teaching and learning needs while accommodating specific requirements from previous departmental users.
