The Data Science and AI Forum to be held on 30-31 May 2023 is the first joint forum organized by City University of Hong Kong and Lingnan University in Hong Kong. Faced with accelerated development in data science and AI, such as GPT, this is a valuable occasion for Data Science scholars, AI experts, and domain experts in all disciplines to explore and exchange new ideas and technological development.
The HK Tech Forum on Data Science and AI (DSAI) gathers world-renowned scholars in data science and AI to address challenging issues in driving data science and AI technology for the benefit of the society. Featured speakers include Turing award winner Prof. John Hopcroft, world-class AI entrepreneur Dr. Kai-Fu Lee, and other world-leading scientists and technologists from the U.S. and China. The forum aims to exchange new ideas and technological development among DSAI scholars in Hong Kong and the rest of the world.

This forum is organized to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the foundation of Centre for Systems Informatics Engineering (CSIE). The forum features keynote speech and invited talks complemented by short presentations of selected members of the CSIE.

The Day will begin by President Way Kuo’s opening address. World-renowned Artificial Intelligence scholar and entrepreneur, Prof Wen Gao, will deliver the keynote speech through online platform.
The IFAC workshop series on “Control Systems and Data Science Toward Industry 4.0”, co-organized by School of Data Science, Hong Kong Institute for Data Science and the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) has come to the 3rd Module. The Module 3 of IFAC Workshop Series focus on Electrical and Computer Engineering Systems and the module is to be given by world-renowned scholars and industrial leaders from different continents. The module will be held on 9 July, 2021 (Friday) at 7:45pm. It is free for registration.

CityU School of Data Science and Hong Kong Institute for Data Science co-organize a workshop series on Control Systems and Data Science Towards Industry 4.0 with the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC).
