PERIATNA Kevin Frans, Bachelor of Business Administration student (Global Business & Information Management), took part in an outbound exchange at Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology.

Studying abroad has been one of the most rewarding decisions in my academic journey. Choosing KAIST as my exchange university was truly one of the best choices I have ever made. From the very beginning, I felt both excited and nervous about stepping into a new environment, but this experience has pushed me beyond my comfort zone and encouraged tremendous personal and academic growth.

Throughout my time at KAIST, I have developed both hard and soft skills that I believe will benefit me in the long run. Academically, the rigorous coursework and innovative learning environment have strengthened my technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities. On the other hand, interacting with people from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds has greatly improved my communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills. I also learned to become more independent and confident in handling new challenges, from managing daily life in a different country to participating in group projects with international peers.

Looking back, I have no regrets about joining the exchange program. The experience has not only enriched my academic perspective but also shaped me into a more open-minded and resilient person who is ready to face future opportunities and challenges.
