CHU Ka Man

Fudan University

CHU Ka Man (Bachelor of Business Administration in Global Business Systems Management) participated in a student exchange at Fudan University, Chinese Mainland. From Fudan to a broader worldview—growth begins where comfort ends.

My exchange experience at Fudan University was both intellectually enriching and personally transformative. Attending courses taught by renowned professors allowed me to deepen my understanding of economics, not only through theory but also by adopting a new mindset of critical and analytical thinking. The academic rigor and diverse perspectives I encountered broadened my horizons and challenged me to approach problems with greater creativity and precision.

Beyond the classroom, the exchange offered me the chance to immerse myself in Chinese culture and history. Traveling to cities such as Hangzhou and Xi’an gave me first-hand exposure to China’s rich heritage and dynamic modern development. Each journey provided unique insights—whether it was appreciating the scenic beauty of West Lake or exploring the ancient Terracotta Warriors—I gained a deeper appreciation of the country’s diversity and resilience.

This experience was more than just an academic pursuit; it was a journey of growth. I learned to adapt to new environments, engage with peers from different backgrounds, and embrace challenges with confidence. My time at Fudan has strengthened my global perspective and reinforced my commitment to pursuing excellence in both academics and future professional endeavours.
