Professor Dai Min is currently the Head and Chair Professor of Department of Economics and Finance at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). Prior to joining CityUHK, he was Chair Professor of Applied Statistics and Financial Mathematics and Director of the Research Centre for Quantitative Finance at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He has also held academic appointments at the National University of Singapore and Peking University.
Professor Dai is internationally recognized for his research in derivative pricing, asset allocation, corporate finance, and financial technology. He has an extensive publication record in leading academic journals across economics, finance, and applied mathematics. He also serves as Chair of INFORMS Finance Section, as a member of the Council of the Bachelier Finance Society, and on the editorial boards of top-tier academic journals. Professor Dai is the awardee of 2026/27 RGC Senior Research Fellow Scheme.
