The Named Chair Professorship Scheme of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is part of our commitment to excellence in research and professional education for the benefit of society. The Scheme seeks to attract world-class scholars to advance research and professional education at the University.

Named Chair Professorships represent one of the highest honours that the University can bestow on its academics. It is also a lasting tribute to the donor who establishes the endowment or financially supports the Scheme. The donor’s name is henceforth prominently associated with the professorship holder.
