Three MSE Faculty Honored with CENG Research Excellence Awards for Outstanding Contributions

In recognition of outstanding scholarly achievements and the significant impact made by our faculty, the College of Engineering (CENG) established the Research Excellence Award (REA) last year.

This year, following a rigorous selection process, we are proud to announce that three faculty members from MSE have been recognized for their outstanding research achievements:

Research Excellence Award:

Prof LEI Dangyuan

Research Excellence Award for Junior Faculty:

Prof. HAN Jian

Prof. ZENG Zhiyuan

Notably, MSE accounts for three of the seven total awardees this year, reflecting the department’s prominent role in advancing research in photonics, computational materials, nanomaterials & energy storage.
