Ordered Membrane Electrode Assembly Design for Hydrogen Electrocatalytic Production
TuShih focuses on advancing Ordered Membrane Electrode Assembly (Omea) technology for anion exchange membrane (AEM)/proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzers. Compared to traditional catalyst-coated substrate (CCS) and catalyst-coated membrane (CCM) structures, Omea forms the catalytic layer directly on the membrane or gas diffusion layer, reducing contact resistance and improving electron/mass transfer and hydrogen production efficiency. This project aims to develop tailored Omea solutions for various application scenarios by analyzing user needs and operating environments. By optimizing performance and adaptability, TuShih seeks to overcome current membrane electrode limitations and achieve full technological coverage.
