HO Sung Chi, a BBA student specializing in Global Business Systems Management and Finance, gained invaluable academic and cultural experiences during his exchange at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH).

My six‑month exchange at UCPH was a truly transformative chapter of my university journey. Coming from the City University of Hong Kong, adapting to the Danish lifestyle and academic environment was both a thrilling challenge and a transformative period of personal growth. Whether I was cycling through the crisp Copenhagen streets, diving deep into behavioral finance and business strategy with my European peers, or meticulously budgeting my weekend travels across the continent, every single moment broadened my global perspective.

Beyond the classroom, this experience taught me invaluable lessons in adaptability and cross‑cultural communication — skills I know will be crucial as I pursue a future career in finance and international consulting. The late‑night study sessions, the casual food discoveries in local markets, and the friendships built over coffee made navigating the initial culture shock entirely worth it. I am returning to CityUHK not just with academic credits, but with a sharper mindset, lifelong memories, and a much deeper appreciation for international business dynamics. I highly recommend the UCPH exchange to anyone ready to step out of their comfort zone and explore the world.
