CHAN Cheuk Hei, a Bachelor of Business Administration student majoring in Global Business Systems Management and Finance, unlocked a world of international insights during his exchange at Aalto University in Finland. He returned inspired by Europe’s thriving innovation ecosystem, equipped with a sharper, more versatile global business mindset.

His exchange semester at Aalto University was a truly remarkable experience. Studying at the business school, he thoroughly enjoyed the courses. The faculty members were incredibly supportive, while classes focused heavily on real-world business cases and collaborative group work, giving him deep insights into how Nordic companies operate.

Although the Finnish winter was cold and dark, he quickly adapted. He frequently utilized the campus library and cherished spending time with fellow exchange students. Together, they immersed themselves in Finnish traditions such as going to the sauna and drinking hot glögi. These unique experiences made his stay truly special.

Beyond the classroom, he developed greater independence and resilience. Even in harsh weather, he cycled to school and completed projects on time, which significantly boosted his self-confidence.

His time at Aalto was not just about studying business; it was about building lifelong friendships with people from different countries and deeply understanding a new culture. He will never forget this semester. Kiitos, Aalto.
