City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) excelled in the latest Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings by Subject 2026, with seven subjects placed among the world’s top 100 and two ranked within the world’s top 50 and Asia’s top 10.
In this year’s results, Engineering ranked among the world’s top 100, reinforcing CityUHK’s strong global standing in research and innovation. Computer Science and Physical Sciences, both closely associated with the University’s engineering strengths, also secured top-100 positions worldwide, highlighting CityUHK’s growing influence in cutting-edge technological and scientific fields.
