President Boey firstly visited Peterhouse at the University of Cambridge. During the visit, Professor Andy Parker, Master of Peterhouse, presented the Senior Research Associate title to President Boey. This appointment, selected by the Peterhouse Honorary and Visiting Fellowship Committee, is an honour bestowed upon only one or two distinguished scholars worldwide each year, representing the highest level of academic recognition.

Founded in 1284, Peterhouse is the oldest college at Cambridge, renowned for its rich academic traditions and research culture. It has nurtured outstanding figures, including Charles Babbage, the “Father of the Computer”, and five Nobel Prize laureates.
