CityUHK Engineering Elite Innovators Bootcamp
Curious about how the future is built? The Elite Innovators Bootcamp gives talented high school students a firsthand look at innovation through the lens of engineering, guided by CityUHK professors and industry experts. Experience university lectures, lab tours, company visits, and campus life.
Step into the role of a future innovator. Help build the sustainable cities of tomorrow. Engage with robotics, microelectronics, solar materials, future living, and sustainable engineering. Discover your potential, connect with like-minded peers, and explore your future path. This camp is for you!

Lectures by CityUHK Professors: Attend inspiring university lectures by 5 leading engineering departments — from robotics and microelectronics to green hydrogen and smart cities. | Recognition of Participation | A certificate will be awarded upon completion of the entire programme; up to 20% absence is allowed only in cases of emergency or sick leave, supported by a valid reason and official documentation (e.g., medical certificate). A letter from a parent or guardian must accompany the supporting document. |

Accommodation & Meals
| Accommodation | Participants will stay overnight at the student residence on 31 July 2026 (Friday) at the CityUHK Student Residence (Ma On Shan Compound). To build connections within the group, participants will share a room with another attendee of the same gender assigned by the College — please note that single rooms are not available. |
| Meals | The programme includes three group meals. For all other meals, participants are free to explore the campus dining options. On-campus canteens and cafeterias offer a wide range of food at reasonable prices. |

| Financial Assistance |
Financial assistance may be offered to local students who have financial needs to participate in the CityUHK Engineering Elite Innovators Bootcamp, and are currently receiving at least one of the following financial support from the HKSAR government:
(a) Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) Scheme; and/
or Support Programme fee for successful applicants: HK$1,500 How to Apply Complete the Financial Assistance Application Form and upload it with the required supporting document(s) when submitting your online application. If you are shortlisted, the financial assistance application results will be included in your acceptance letter and sent to you by email. Important Notes Financial assistance is subject to funding availability and is granted at the discretion of the CityUHK College of Engineering. |
| Principal's Nomination Sponsorship |
Principal's nomination sponsorship may be offered to students ranked in the top 20% of their cohort and nominated by their Principal. Support Programme fee for successful applicants: HK$1,500 How to Apply Complete the Principal's Nomination Form and upload it with the required supporting document(s) when submitting your online application. If you are shortlisted, the Principal's Nomination Sponsorship application results will be included in your acceptance letter and sent to you by email. Important Notes Principal's nomination sponsorship is subject to funding availability and is granted at the discretion of the CityUHK College of Engineering. |
| Remarks |
Students may apply for either the Principal's Nomination Sponsorship or Financial Assistance, but not both. All fees paid are non-refundable unless otherwise specified. |
