为进一步促进内地、香港两地高校的科研合作发展，为两地科研人员提供研讨和交流的平台，国家自然科学基金委员会、香港城市大学与京港学术交流中心计画于2021年冬季在香港合办学术研讨会，研讨主题定为「先进结构设计与制造」。研讨会旨在围绕先进结构材料前沿热点问题，探讨相关研究的发展与创新设计，共谋在前沿问题的研究上开展深入合作，服务于国家建设的重大需求，促进中国内地与香港两地在先进结构材料领域的合作及发展。

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of NANO2018, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to each of you who generously helped us make this event come together to become a success.
Around 600 participants from over 35 countries and regions spent precious time and resources to attend and to contribute to NANO2018. Your contribution is valuable to the nano-science and nanotechnology field, and is highly appreciated. Quite a number positive responses were received from various parties after the conference. We hope you enjoyed the scientific and social programme and that you have taken the opportunity to exchange ideas and establish relationships with high-level researches, experts, and industrial specialists around the world.
