03 · Collaborative partner platforms
These specialised high-temperature lead–bismuth corrosion and ion-irradiation facilities are partner platforms hosted and operated by ANSD’s collaborating units, not ANSD-owned facilities. ANSD researchers access them through collaboration to investigate degradation mechanisms relevant to advanced nuclear-energy systems.
Our research team
Led by the Centre Director, ANSD’s current research team brings together six Postdoctoral Fellows—including one part-time appointment—working across complex alloys, irradiation response, nanomechanics and materials design.
Public engagement
ANSD provides a platform for education and public discussion on nuclear technology, its societal impact and sustainable development in Hong Kong.
