Interlibrary Loan Services

Interlibrary Loan Services support research and teaching activities of the City University of Hong Kong community by obtaining literature not available at the Run Run Shaw Library from other sources. Books may be borrowed and articles may be photocopied.

Before submitting your Interlibrary Loan requests, however, please check the Library Catalogue to make sure that our Library does not hold the items concerned. You may also use the SFX Citation Linker to check if our Library holds the specific articles.

All requests should be submitted through ILLiad, our online interlibrary loan system which enables you to:

submit your Interlibrary Loan requests online
track the progress of your requests
edit previously submitted requests
make book renewal requests online
receive articles electronically

Who may use Interlibrary Loan Services?

Academic and administrative equivalent staff
Research staff
Postgraduate students of programmes leading to CityU awards*
Executive officers
