Visit from delegation of Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Monash University

On 2 October 2025, Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering, City University of Hong Kong welcomed a delegation from Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, Monash University. The delegation was led by the Head of Department, Prof Ha Bui, and Deputy Head of Department, Prof Victor Chung. A meeting was held where Prof. Jianguo Dai, Head of ACE, Prof. Alvin Lai and Prof. Huang Gongsheng, Associate Heads of ACE, Prof. Xiaowei Luo, Prof. Xin Li, Prof Jeff Wang, Prof Konstantinos Senetakis, Prof Hu Songhua, Prof Wang Mingzhu, Prof Yin Xianfei and Prof. Amy Tan attended. Both sides engaged in fruitful exchanges on topics such as collaboration on joint programmes and research. The visit strengthened mutual understanding between the two Departments and we look forward to deepening the collaborative relationship as well as advancing our research excellence.
