TAM who is awarded in the Academic Stream and Sr. Eric Y. C. TING being awarded in the Industry Stream! Your exceptional achievements and unwavering contributions truly inspired us.

About the Awardees

Prof. Vivian W. Y. TAM obtained her PhD from CityUHK ACE in 2005. She is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and a world-leading researcher in the field of construction engineering and management. Her research findings have significant applications and impact in addressing climate change issues, particularly in green buildings and recycled concrete. Currently, she holds multiple leadership roles, including Director of the Australian Research Council (ARC) Industrial Transformation Training Centre in Digital Platforms for the Net-Zero Building Ecosystem Lifecycle (NØBEL), Director of the Centre for Infrastructure Engineering, and Associate Dean (Research and HDR) at the School of Engineering, Design and Built Environment, Western Sydney University, Australia. Prof. Tam has been consistently named among the top 100,000 scientists (Top 2%) in the world since 2017.

Sr. Eric Y. C. TING was awarded his BSc in Surveying in 2005, and his MSc (Distinction) in Construction Project Management in 2008 from CityUHK ACE. Sr. Ting is Director of MJ Consultants Limited and the Vice-Chairman of the HKIS Quantity Surveying Division. Sr. Ting has been making immense contributions to CityUHK ACE, serving as industrial mentor and Integrated Building Project Development (IBPD) external advisor, and regularly sharing his surveying knowledge by delivering guest lectures. Sr. Ting is committed to contribute his expertise to the wider community, serving as member of the Surveyors Registration Board, Appeal Tribunal Panel under Development Bureau, Construction Industry Council, Hong Kong Green Building Council and Urban Renewal Authority.
