Abstract:

Building resilient organisations and communities that can not only survive, but also thrive during times of great turbulence and change is a critical challenge facing us all worldwide. In this presentation we will first describe how resilience can be measured, and highlight the qualities that are needed in order to build greater resilience.

Following this, the presentation will outline the current projects being undertaken which highlight resilience and assist in facilitating effective post-disaster recovery and reconstruction.
