Sustainability is a concept which promotes long lasting development without sacrificing the needs of our future generations. In order to realise sustainable development, we need a perspective that can integrate both science and arts. In this talk, we will provide a few examples which demonstrate how science and arts can be integrated in sustainable design. We will elaborate why our Department is a suitable place to nurture our young generation to become experts in making sustainable built environment a reality.
