Professor Kenneth Leung Co-authors Nature Cities Study Revealing Hidden Health Risks in Urban Wetlands
Prof. Kenneth Leung, B.B.S., JP, Affiliate Professor from the School of Energy and Environment (SEE) and Chair Professor of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), has co-authored a significant study titled “Urban wetlands as hotspots of antibiotic resistomes and their potential viral transmission,” recently published in the prestigious journal Nature Cities.

Professor Sam Hsu Leads Breakthrough Study on Self-Repairing Single-Atom Catalysts in Advanced Materials
The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is pleased to announce a significant research breakthrough led by Prof. Sam Hsien-Yi HSU. The study, titled “Photoresponsive Adaptive Reconfiguration of Single-Atom Interface With Intermittent Light and Soft Ionic Lattices”, has been published in the prestigious journal Advanced Materials.

The School of Energy and Environment (SEE) recently held a colloquium on 18 March 2026, titled “Creating Future-Fit Places through Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies”.
