Mr Bailin Xie, a Year-4 student of our BSc in Physics programme, just completed an internship at Oxford University in Summer 2025.
"My wonderful 10-week Overseas Internship Scheme at Oxford University, based in the Physics Department, deepened my understanding of quantum theory and brought me a fantastic perspective of quantum teleportation. This experience also honed my technical skills, like designing interactive visualizations with HTML5 and Three.js to make complex concepts accessible, and [I] learned to stay strong and adapt through iterative problem-solving. Engaging with Oxford’s academic community during the internship enriched my experience, inspiring me to blend theory, technology, and education in future projects," said Bailin.
