ABSTRACT

There are canonical probability structures associated with the velocity field of an incomprehensible fluid flow, namely the laws and conditional laws of Brownian fluid particles. These infinite dimensional measures can be used in turn to represent the fluid dynamic variables such as the velocity, the vorticity and etc. The functional integral representations for fluid dynamic variables can be used to implement simulations of fluid dynamics, and thus can be used in CDF. Some examples of such applications will be discussed in this talk.
