Ms Fontane Ko is director of Cytomics Limited, a pioneering gene-technology start-up advancing single-cell transcriptomics to decode complex immune responses. Ms Ko leads the commercialisation of breakthrough innovations that strengthen clinical and diagnostic practices, with the goal of improving survival rates in serious infectious diseases.

Accredited as a fintech professional by The Hong Kong Institute of Bankers, and recognised as a transformation leader and agile practitioner, Ms Ko has extensive expertise in driving complex, large-scale transformation and digitalisation across businesses and geographies. Previously, she served as global strategic transformation head at HSBC, where she spearheaded AI- and data-driven initiatives that enhanced operational efficiency and fostered a culture of innovation. Ms Ko also led the rollout of fintech solutions across 18 Asia Pacific countries to meet regulatory commitments. Her leadership consistently emphasises customer centricity and sustainability.
