Mr Henry Lai is a seasoned investment professional with more than 25 years of experience in corporate investment, entrepreneurship, and cross-border deal execution. He has a proven track record of scaling businesses, managing high-value portfolios, and driving strategic exits. Previously, Mr Lai built and led the Investor Engagement team at Hong Kong Science Park (HKSTP), where he spearheaded fundraising and growth strategies for thousands of companies and cultivated a network of more than 1,000 global investors. His expertise spans early-to-growth-stage venture investing, with hands-on experience across sectors.

Earlier in his career, Mr Lai spent more than 12 years in corporate investment, M&A, business development and international trade. He also ran his family’s industrial operations, including a manufacturing business and import/export ventures.

Mr Lai also works as Partner of Future Hong Kong Investment Fund. He holds a master’s degree in Corporate Finance and professional certifications in Corporate Governance & Directorship, and China Business Law. He combines operational experience and a vast global network to identify disruptive opportunities and empower portfolio companies.
