ACE Ph.D. Students granted NEXCEL 2025 Scholarship Program

Congratulations to our Ph.D. students HU Feng and HU Shengming who are granted scholarships under the 2025 Ph.D. Scholarship Program of Nonmetallic Excellence and Innovation Center for Building Materials (NEXCEL).

NEXCEL is jointly established by Saudi Aramco, China National Building Material Group (CNBM) and China Building Materials Academy (CBMA). Its scholarship program is open to global Ph.D students and provides funding for their research projects and dissertations. It aims to encourage young students to conduct innovative research in the field of nonmetallic materials, with a focus on the application of hydrocarbon-based materials in the fields of buildings, building materials and constructions. Below is the list of project titles of our Ph.D. students:

Student: Hu Feng
Project Title: Magnetically Driven Epoxy Resin Crack Repair Technology and Multi-Scale Performance Study

Student: Hu Shengming
Project Title: Design of self-compacting rubberized concrete through rubber-matrix interface enhancement and steel fiber reinforcement
