Congratulations to our CVSE students (Tin Tat Kwan, Lui Cheuk Him and Chu Wing Yan Emily) who received the Excellent Structural Design Award in the 10th Inter-University Invitational Civil Engineering Competition (IUICEC) on 26-30 June 2018, in Macau.

IUICEC is a biennial activity which was initiated by Tsinghua University (Beijing), University of Hong Kong and University of Macau in 2000. This competition acts as a platform for the students from architecture and civil engineering to develop their creativity and skills through experiencing the design, manufacturing and testing a structural model.

The competition consists of two static load tests and one dynamic load tests. There are 15 teams from Macau, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea and Malaysia. Only 8 teams pass all tests and our team is one of them.
