2026 Construction Youth Exchange Programme in Greater Bay Area

【Event Introduction】
The Construction Industry Council (CIC) established the Construction Industry Council Youth Affairs Committee (CICYAC) at the end of 2022 to set the future direction for the development of young people in Hong Kong's construction industry. CICYAC organizes various activities for young people in the construction industry, allowing them to showcase their talents, enhance their competitiveness, and cultivate them into a new generation of visionary, creative, responsible, and positive-thinking construction professionals in Hong Kong.
Since 2023, the Construction Youth Exchange Programme in Greater Bay Area has been organised by CICYAC for three consecutive years and the results are remarkable. In 2025, more than 90% of the participants were satisfied with the overall arrangement of the event, and all participants expressed that they would recommend the exchange programme to their relatives and friends, and were willing to share their experiences, feelings and gains.
In light of the success of the past three years, CICYAC will continue to organise the exchange programme during the summer of 2026 for Hong Kong students and young construction professionals, aiming for two-way exchanges. In addition to arranging visits for Hong Kong students and young professionals to the Greater Bay Area, CICYAC will also invite mainland students to Hong Kong for exchanges.
【Event Details】
Date:
(Mainland itinerary) 22 to 25 July 2026 (Wednesday to Saturday).
(Hong Kong itinerary) 26 July to 30 July 2026 (Sunday to Thursday morning).
Participants must attend all activities in the Mainland and Hong Kong
Days: 8.5 days in total (4 days in the mainland + 4.5 days in Hong Kong)
Location: Hong Kong and Guangzhou
Itinerary:
(Mainland itinerary) Academic exchanges with Mainland university, visits to construction organisations and projects, and local attractions
(Hong Kong itinerary) Visit construction organisations, projects and enterprises, visit the Centre for Future Construction, and learning outcome sharing
Hong Kong students: Form 4 to Form 6 students, tertiary students studying construction-related subjects
Quota: 10 reserved for ACE students
