City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), the Society of Boys’ Centres Chak Yan Centre School, and the Scout Association of Hong Kong Kowloon Region jointly hosted the “Together We Shine — A World Record Community Dance Supporting Inclusion and the Next Generation for a Sustainable Future” SDG World Record Event (Mainland Schools Chapter) on June 17, 2026. The event, connected online, successfully brought together 1,600 teachers and students from nine schools across Mainland China and Hong Kong to dance in unison, setting a new SDG world record. Building on the spirit of the Kai Tak event on April 19, which involved 1,400 participants, the two events together engaged a total of 3,000 participants, marking a milestone of profound significance.
