In June and July 2025, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted around 70 senior secondary students from Creative Secondary School, ELCHK Lutheran Academy, and Tseung Kwan O Government Secondary School. The visits offered secondary school students a broad overview of the University, combining academic exposure, cultural enrichment, and insights into student life.

Students from Creative Secondary School gained a glimpse into the forefront of materials science. Following an introductory talk on the College of Engineering by Professor Chan Hung Shek, Associate Dean, Professor Stephen Tsang from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering led an interactive workshop on smart materials during which students explored the fascinating world of smart materials and their applications in modern technology.

Students from ELCHK Lutheran Academy and Tseung Kwan O Government Secondary School attended expert talks by Professor Alvin Leung from the College of Business and admission talks in July. In addition, ELCHK Lutheran Academy explored the College of Science and visited exhibitions including Story of the Ocean Giants and Central African Art: Invocation of an Unseen World, which gave them a closer look at the University’s rich cultural and scientific resources. Meanwhile, Tseung Kwan O Government Secondary School toured the School of Creative Media and Student Residence, discovering vibrant campus facilities and student life.
