Eighty secondary students from Hong Kong Red Cross Princess Alexandra School and Carmel Secondary School visited City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) in November and December 2025, respectively, participating in enriching campus experiences designed to inspire future learning.

Both schools began their visits with an admission talk, offering valuable information on programmes, entry requirements, and campus experiences at CityUHK. They also visited the "Story of the Ocean Giants: Cetaceans & Sea Turtles" exhibition, where students gained fascinating insights into the marine ecosystem and the need for conservation.

Moreover, students from the Hong Kong Red Cross Princess Alexandra School, a special school supporting students with physical disabilities, participated in an accessible programme, enjoying a hands-on demonstration session at the Robot Academy and a tour of the Run Run Shaw Library.

For students from Carmel Secondary School, the programme also featured an expert talk titled "Developments, Job Requirements, Educational Pathways, and Career Opportunities in the Medical Laboratory Industry" by Professor Han Kam Chu, Department of Biomedical Sciences. The talk introduced key advancements in biomedicine and related professional paths. Some students toured the state-of-the-art facilities of School of Creative Media, discovering cutting-edge tools for media production and digital creativity.

These visits provided students with inspiring exposure to CityUHK's diverse academic environment, advanced facilities, and inclusive support, helping to broaden their perspectives on higher education and future careers.
