Information Technology Officer I in the Talent and Education Development Office [Ref. B/865/09]
Duties
- Digitalisation Initiative: Lead the digital transformation of all Talent and Education Development Office (TED) administrative processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy;
- IT Solutions: Provide innovative solutions to all IT-related issues and ensure the smooth operation of the digital infrastructure;
- Technical Support for Digital Learning and Events: Offer technical support to facilitate digital learning and events, ensuring that all digital tools and platforms are effectively utilised;
- System Maintenance and Support: Maintain and support all existing TED administrative systems, including but not limited to:
- PALSI Management System
- GE Course Information System
- Teaching Grant Database and Evaluation Platform
- Tiger Wall
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Science, or related disciplines, with at least 5 years’ relevant working experience;
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, multitask, and work independently with attention to details;
- Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, C# and Python;
- Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and Power Platform;
- Familiarity with Generative AI (GenAI) usage and applications;
- Experience in API development and managing outsourced IT projects; and
- Strong knowledge in both Windows and MacOS operating systems.

Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
