Thousands of CityUHK students engaged with representatives from 30 government departments and attended career talks to learn more about the application and recruitment processes.At the opening ceremony, Professor LEE Chun-sing, Provost and Deputy President of CityUHK, emphasised the University's commitment to nurturing young talent for a better Hong Kong. Mrs. Ingrid, YEUNG HO Poi-Yan, Secretary for the Civil Service, highlighted the Government's efforts to attract young people to the civil service. These sessions aimed to introduce tailored career services for students, emphasising early career planning and resources to enhance employability.During the Student Development Services (SDS) Expo from 14 to 17 August 2024, CLC showcased their flagship programmes, including local and overseas internships and various career events. Supported by our corporate partners, the booths attracted over 500 students from diverse disciplines.Additionally, more than 40 undergraduate and postgraduate class visits facilitated direct outreach, educating students about CityUHK's comprehensive career services%u2014ranging from one-on-one consultations to career preparatory workshops and upcoming fairs.
