Ad-hoc Application Round for Student Residence at Kowloon Tong Compound

A limited number of bedplaces in the Double Room and 3-person Room at the Kowloon Tong Compound may become available in Semester B. If you are still interested in applying for hall accommodation, please see below information.

1. Eligibility:
   Full-time students studying in Master’s programmes.
   Please note:
   
   • Current residents are not eligible for this round.
   • Eligible applicants will be put on the waiting list after submission, applications will be considered subject to availability and policy guidelines.
2. Application deadline:
   Until vacant bedplaces are filled.
   
   • If you are still interested in applying for Student Residence in 2025/26, please send an email to sropga@cityu.edu.hk.
3. Result Announcement:
   Starting from 27 November 2025 via email.
4. Residential Period:
   5 January 2026, 9am - 26 May 2026, 12:00 noon
5. Room Type and Hall lodging fee:
   
   • NO hall/room type preference or preferred roommate will be entertained.
   • Room type will be randomly assigned and subject to availability.

   A self-contained flat with a shared washroom (including a shower booth, a lavatory and wash basin counter sets with mirror cabinets) and pantry facility (including a microwave machine and a refrigerator) gets you started with all the basics.

   **   Lodging fees include Internet service, water and electricity charges, but do not include the meal plan, laundry, and air-conditioning.
