Ad-hoc Application Round for Student Residence at Kowloon Tong Compound
An Ad-hoc round application for RPG students at the Kowloon Tong (KLNT) Compound is now open.
All applications received will be placed on a waiting list. As vacancies arise, applications will be reviewed and considered subject to bedplace availability and the relevant admission policies.

Eligibility:
Full-time research degree students within normal study period. Priority will be given to students under UGC-funded programmmes.
- Current residents (both KLNT and MOS compounds) are not eligible for this round.
- Students are eligible to accept only one offer from the Student Residence Office (SRO) within the same residential year. If you have confirmed any offer in 2026/27, you are not eligible for this round.
- Applicants will be put on the waiting list after submission, applications will be considered subjected to availability and policy guidelines.

Result Announcement:
Starting from 9 October 2026 via email
Residential Period:
Start: The actual check-in date will be confirmed individually in the result email sent to successful applicants.
End: 16 August 2027, 12:00 noon or upon completion of the normal study period, whichever is earlier.
Room Type and Hall lodging fee:- Room type will be subject to availability at the time of allocation.

*A surcharge of 25% will be levied on students of non-UGC-funded programmes.
