比賽子課題（Sub-theme）選擇安排
大賽籌委會理解部分隊伍所選擇的比賽子課題仍需要時間作進一步討論或調整。因此，現階段的比賽子課題選擇將視為暫定及參考。如有需要，隊伍可更改其 sub-theme；但請注意：
- 所有更改必須盡快通知大會；
- 大賽報告及短片提交截止日期前兩星期內，將不接受任何比賽子課題的更改。
感謝各隊伍的理解及配合。

訓練工作坊（三）
第三場訓練工作坊將於 2026 年 4 月 11 日 舉行。是次工作坊我們邀請了專業從事 GIS 數據應用的公司，教授同學如何使用其軟件搜尋及運用 ArcGIS 數據
誠邀同學踴躍參加。未能出席的同學，請先電郵向大會申請批准。同學亦可自備電腦出席工作坊。

Contest Important Updates

Training Workshop 2 Recordings Available
The recordings of the Training Workshop 2 have been uploaded to the contest website. Students who were unable to attend, or who wish to review the key points, are encouraged to watch the recordings on the website.

Sub-theme Selection Arrangement
The contest committee understand that some teams' chosen sub-theme may still require further discussion or adjustment. Therefore, the current sub-theme selection will be treated as tentative and for reference only. Teams may revise their sub-theme if necessary. However, please note that:
- All changes must be reported to the Organising Committee as soon as possible;
- No changes on the chosen sub-theme will be accepted within two weeks before the contest report and video submission deadline.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Training Workshop 3
The third training workshop will be held on 11 April 2026. For this workshop, we have invited a company with professional expertise in GIS data applications to teach students how to search for and use ArcGIS data through their software.
Students are strongly encouraged to attend. Those who are unable to join should email the Contest Organising Committee in advance to seek approval. Students are also welcome to bring their own laptops to the workshop.

提交比賽子課題（Sub-theme）的重要提示
正如於培訓工作坊一所提到，由於部分小組未能出席是次工作坊，每個參賽小組必須於訓練工作坊 (二) 或之前（即2026年3月28日或之前），向大賽籌委會提交已選定的比賽子課題。
- 提交方式：請由隊長以電郵形式提交隊伍名稱、學校名稱及所選子課題。
- 逾期遞交，有可能影響隊伍之評分或日後安排，請各組盡量準時提交。

Four Sample Award-winning Projects Uploaded (Training Modules tab)
Four samples of past award‑winning projects are now available under the “Training Modules” tab on the contest website. Students may refer to these examples to understand possible structure, use of data, and presentation style when preparing their own projects. Please note that these samples are for reference only and must not be copied.

Submission of Selected Sub-theme (Important)
As mentioned during Training Workshop 1, some groups were unable to attend. Therefore, each team is required to submit its selected contest sub-theme to the Contest Committee on or before Training Workshop 2 (28 March 2026).
- Submission method: The team leader should submit the team name, school name, and chosen sub-theme via email.
- Late submission may affect the team’s score or subsequent arrangements , so please submit on time.

「粵港澳公共治理數據分析大賽 2025–26（中學組）」將於明天舉行比賽簡介會。

簡介會內容包括：介紹比賽主題及時間表、講解評分準則及提交要求，以及解答老師和同學的提問。

同時，我們已更新《參賽指南》，並已將最新版本上載至比賽網頁。請各參賽隊伍：
- 於本網頁下載最新版本的《參賽指南》；及
- 於簡介會期間預備一份指引（列印本或電子版），以便跟隨講解及標示重點內容。
有關評分準則、報告及影片格式、重要日期，以及使用生成式 AI 工具的指引，請一概以最新版本《參賽指南》為準。

During the briefing, we will introduce the contest theme and schedule, explain the judging criteria and submission requirements, and answer questions from teachers and students.

We have also revised the Contest Entry Guide. The latest version has been uploaded to the contest website. Participants are advised to:
- Download the updated Contest Entry Guide from this website; and
- Prepare a copy (printed or on screen) for the briefing, so that you can follow the explanation and highlight important sections.
Please refere to the Entry Guide for the most up-to-date information on judging criteria, report and video format, timeline, and the guidelines on the use of GenAI tools.
