Dr Rebecca Parkes recently joined the Department of Infectious Diseases and Public Health as an Assistant Professor in Equine Medicine and Surgery.
She joins us from The Hong Kong Joclkey Club where she worked as an Equestrian Veterinary Surgeon.
She will contribute to the teaching in the Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine programme and research musculoskeletal disease in the racehorse, in particular biomechanics factors affecting injury, and evidence based rehabilitation of the equine athlete.
