Virtual Desktop Service

The Virtual Desktop Service (VDS) provides secure access to Windows 11 desktop that has similar settings to PC in the University's Computer Teaching Laboratories (i.e. Teaching Studios).  It can also be connected from anywhere and any devices, including smart phones, tablets and notebook computers via the on-campus Wi-Fi and Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.  Through the Virtual Desktop, you can (i) access to any of the software/applications on the Work Desk menu, including Windows applications such as SAS and IBM SPSS Amos even on Mac, iOS and Android devices; and (ii) send documents to Free Quota Printing & Octopus Charged Printing, thereby providing a handy way for printing.
