THERMA CLEAR-A New Transparent Fire Protection Solution 

Therma Clear Ventures is developing THERMA CLEAR, a transparent intumescent coating that significantly enhances the fire resistance of flammable materials like wood, paperboard, and composites without altering their appearance. The prototype coatings have demonstrated over two hours of fire protection in small-scale tests. This solution enables architects and manufacturers to achieve safety, sustainability, and design goals simultaneously at a lower cost. Initial commercialization will focus on pilot projects with building industry partners, followed by expanding into packaging and other application sectors.
