Low-Cost AEM Electrolyzer with Binder-Free Electrodes and Advanced Bubble Management

HydroForge Tech develops low-cost, high-efficiency AEM electrolyzers integrating binder-free in-situ grown electrodes and TPMS flow-fields. A corrosion-tailored conductive interlayer enables direct catalyst growth, reducing manufacturing costs, while TPMS structures enhance bubble detachment and mass transport. The modular 5–100 kW stack platform, compatible with 3D-printed or sheet-metal components, targets distributed hydrogen generation for the steel, cement, glass, and chemical industries. A 1 kW prototype has been validated with early research clients, paving the way for patented, certification-ready, and scalable systems that bridge lab innovation to industrial decarbonization.
