Mr Dennis Wu is an ESG Certified Professional (ESGCP®) and a multidisciplinary executive with 30 years of integrated experience spanning sustainability, ESG, green technology, investment management, investment banking, private equity, and finance. His career is dedicated to bridging global capital markets with sustainable development, with a strategic focus on Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.

As CEO, Mr Wu leads Hong Kong’s first listed pure-play environmental consulting firm, AEC Group (HKEX: 8320), and its affiliate AEC Capital. Under his leadership, the companies focus on green building certification, environmental consultancy, and mobilising capital for sustainable finance projects. He founded AEC Capital after 17 years of experience at CITIC Capital.

In addition, Mr Wu serves as the Founding President of the Greater Bay Area Carbon Neutrality Association, where he has established a collaborative platform connecting diverse stakeholders across disciplines, academia, research institutions, green-tech companies, policymakers, and financial markets, both regionally and globally. He also contributes to several industry associations through sustainability-related committees, including the HKGCC, CHKLC, FHKI, HKGBC, and HKTDC.

Mr Wu holds a strong academic background with qualifications from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the University of Southern California, Cambridge University, and Imperial College London. He is also a prominent educator, having delivered over 100 training sessions for corporate boards and financial institutions on ESG integration and climate transition.
