Risk Management Committee

Terms of Reference

Reporting to the President, the Risk Management Committee has the following terms of reference:

1. Steer the development of the University Risk Management Programme;
2. Conduct regular review of the progress of the Programme, including the Risk Matrix and the Risk Register;
3. Oversee the preparation of reports to the University management and the Council;
4. Formulate University policies and plans on critical incident management (CIMAT) for University operations and staff, and ensure its alignment with CIMAT (Students) and the Safety and Health Committee; &
5. Review and endorse CIMAT plans for particular types of incidents concerning University operations and staff.
